PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Sedalia man will appear for a preliminary hearing this morning, for drug allegations filed after a traffic stop by Sedalia Police.
After Virgil L. Taylor, 40, was stopped for operating a four wheeler on a highway in December, police say he became confrontational when asked for consent to search. During his arrest, officers seized a black bag hanging around his neck that allegedly contained methamphetamine in little baggies. Taylor is charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and operating an all terrain vehicle on a public highway.
The hearing in Pettis County is set for 9:00 a.m. in the morning.
