Chariton County drug case transferred to Circuit Court

CHARITON COUNTY, Mo. – A Keytesville man was bound over to circuit court after a preliminary hearing in Chariton County Tuesday afternoon.

James M. Calvert, 19, appeared at 1:30 p.m. yesterday, April 9, on felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

After hearing testimony, the court found probable cause that Calvert committed the offenses charged and bound him over to Division I for arraignment on May 9, 2019.
