CASS COUNTY, Mo.— Two women recover at an area hospital after a serious accident in Cass County Thursday afternoon.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A reports that Kristie R. Hibner, of Pleasant Hill, drove north on MO-7 as she and her passenger argued. During the argument Hibner’s passenger, Nichole M. Schilling, of Raymore, allegedly grabbed the steering wheel, causing Hibner to lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle traveled off the road, struck an embankment, and overturned. Highway patrol seeks to charge Schilling with assault, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
