MOBERLY, Mo. – A suspect is charged after a foot chase in Moberly Friday night.
Police attempted to stop a vehicle in the 800 block of St. Charles Street, around 10:45 p.m. last night. The driver abandoned the car and fled on foot. Joshua Carter, 22, was caught near Grimes Street and Madison Avenue. A search of the vehicle turned up methamphetamine and syringes. Carter is currently on probation for prior drug and burglary convictions. Carter is now charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and felony resisting arrest.
Bond is set at $20,000 cash.
