CALIFORNIA, MO – After sheriff’s deputies in Moniteau County picked up a pair of hitchhikers Wednesday, they were arrested for drug possession.
Sheriff, Tony Wheatley, says Patrick Coffelt, 21, and Natasha Larsen, 31, were picked up just outside California, Missouri before they were searched. Deputies seized methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Coffelt is jailed in lieu of $25,500 bond. Larsen’s bond is set at $10,000.
